Howard Hughes Corp. Planning 267-Unit Residential Development in Summerlin

The Howard Hughes Corp. is planning a 9-acre, 267-unit residential complex on a site that sits on the northeast corner of Sahara Avenue and Pavilion Center Drive, which is just steps from Downtown Summerlin’s main entrance and the developer’s sprawling open-air mall.

According to a recent report from the Las Vegas Review Journal, the new residential project would offer one and two-bedroom units with floor plans ranging from 667 to 1,358 square feet of living space, which would be spread out over multiple buildings that each rise four stories high.

Plans for the new Howard Hughes Corp. community also include a resident park or dog park, but it’s still unclear what the project will be called, or whether it will feature apartments or condos. But given the Las Vegas apartment vacancy is currently among the smallest in the country, it wouldn’t be shocking to see more rentals brought to market sooner rather than later.
