Everything You Need to Know About Discovery Land Company's New Summerlin Community

There’s a lot of excitement surrounding the new Discovery Land Company development in Summerlin, and for good reason. Aside from aiming to be the most exclusive, and most expensive, golf course community in the entire Las Vegas region, Discovery Land Company is internationally known for developing some of the world’s premier housing communities and resorts, which include projects in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
News about Summerlin’s new luxury golf community first broke back in mid-2014 and since then, not much else has been released about Discovery’s plans. But despite the hush-hush tone surrounding this lavish new project, claims that this could be Southern Nevada’s priciest neighborhood in history have us all on the edge of our seats and dying to hear what’s next.
To date, limited information is still available about the unnamed Discovery Land Company development, but after scouring the web for any and all information about the community, here’s what we do know:
- A private 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed golf course will be incorporated
- A private fitness center and spa will be available on-stie, with a five-star chef and consulting physicians on staff who will custom design nutritional and wellness plans and goals for residents of the community.
- Various outdoor recreation programs will be available, which include Red Rock hikes and fly-fishing trips.
- Kids’ camps and programs will also be available
Like most things relating to the new Summerlin Discovery Land Company project, membership rates have yet to be disclosed, but in other Discovery communities around the world, and specifically in the U.S., a one-time cost ranging from $75,000 to $150,000 can be purchased with the home, giving you full access to all the lifestyle amenities the community has to offer. For now, however, we'll just have to wait and see.
